Description
Candlesticks were featured by Tiffany Studios in its metal showrooms at all times, and they are a distinctive and characteristic of the Art Nouveau style as any other items of glass, metal, or pottery. His first candlesticks designed for a chapel in Chicago in 1893 became the source for the “Ninth Century” and “Venetian” desk sets, as well as or all the Tiffany Studios candelabra. This particular candlestick has a wide bobeche above a cup blown with green glass, the base cast radiating gadrooning.
